We would be very happy to help you plan and celebrate a Christian wedding within the church. For Christians, marriage is a sacrament - a special way of living blessed by God.

 

To help you in your plans, here are a few things that you should consider.

 

BOOKING - Please try to book well in advance. We also advise that it is best to book the priest and church before anything else, to make sure that they are available when you want them!

 

 

SERVICE - We are obliged to use the marriage service from the Anglican Church of Australia's Prayer Book. This allows for some flexibility, but other parts cannot be changed.

 

MARRIAGE AFTER DIVORCE - The Anglican Church does allow the remarriage of divorced people, but such a service needs special permission from the Archbishop of Adelaide. Please let the priest know about this as soon as possible so that things can be arranged.
